Spread the Love
Show your love for our wonderful therapy animals and the work that they do with our clients through our Valentine’s Day fundraiser. Now through February 14, we are raising money for the care of our lovable therapy animals and program while spreading our mission to support mental wellness throughout Northeast Ohio.
Help the animals collect Valentines
Every $10 donated will send your favorite animal a Valentine, earning them a decorative heart with your first name written on it featured within the barn. The animals love friendly competition, so spread your love and help your favorite animal gather the most valentines! Your tax-deductible Valentine donation will be used for care of the animals and operation of our farm.
Animals earn at least one Valentine heart for every $10 donation.
- $10 donation moves animal 1 Valentine closer to winning
- $50 donation moves animal 5 Valentines closer to winning
- $100 donation moves animal 10 Valentines closer to winning
The animal with the most Valentines at the end of Valentine’s Day (Tuesday, February 14) wins our friendly competition and will be crowned the King or Queen of Hearts!

Bianca
Our 5 year old Boer goat is a farm favorite. She is lucky that her herd mates and humans are so tolerant of her silly antics. Incredibly inquisitive, she is always checking out what is going on in the barn. She likes to play, LOVES to eat and to play dress up! Watch out, she might try to rub her head on your leg to itch the spot between her horns!
Delilah
This 12 year old Quarter horse mare was adopted from Copper Horse Crusade in Massillon, Ohio. Nothing was known about her background before she was recused, not even her name. Her sweet, friendly nature saved her life and makes her a natural therapy horse. But don’t let her big eyes and warm personality fool you, she is the herd boss and isn’t afraid to put any of the animals in their place!
Doc
Doc is a 28 year old Quarter horse gelding. He has done it all in the arena and showpen and enjoys showing off his many tricks and funny antics. He knows how to smile and keeps our clients smiling too!
Emmie
Emmie is as sweet as she looks. Her gentle nature and kind eye put people at ease. An 11 year old Quarter horse mare, her special gift is welcoming new clients and building their confidence and trust. Emmie loves to be groomed and hugged. She enjoys ground work and is a sensitive ride for advancing riders.
G-Whiz
This handsome 28 year old Hackney cross pony gelding absolutely adores kids! Patient and kind, he has taught countless kids to ride. Mr. Personality plus, he is quite clever and is a great and loyal friend who attracts the timid and teaches them to find their voice and regulate their emotions. Whiz was very lucky to be purchased many years ago by his owner Dana who continues to make sure that he always has a safe and comfortable place to call home.
Kassari
This 21 year old Quarter horse mare is definitely a barn favorite, her big warm eyes and curious nature draw people right to her. She is supported by her owner Susan, who fox hunted and evented on her for several years. Now, heading into her 20’s she is teaching kids and teens how to ride and work in the round pen, and she loves her job! She’s pretty unflappable, but she responds best when her rider or handler is calm and keeps a clear head. She’s a master at teaching us to stay in the moment!
Ladybug
She's adorable and she knows it! This pretty little lady is a 21 year old mini mare. She was rescued by Maggie’s Mission in Medina and adopted by our program in 2018. She is completely blind in one eye and has large cataract in the other, but don’t worry, she doesn’t let it slow her down! She is brave and handles it all without a problem.
Maverick
This handsome and brave 18 year old Quarter horse cross gelding is one in a million. Not much is known about his history before his donor purchased him in 2019. He is very inquisitive and playful, and he is the leader of the gelding herd. His unflappable attitude makes him a good choice for riders who may be unsteady in the saddle. He can also be challenging, and he teaches our clients to remain calm and be assertive when working with him on the ground and in the round pen.
Rocky
Rocky, a Thoroughbred gelding, is the newest member of the herd and is a great grandson of the famous Secretariat. At 21, he leads a quiet life enjoying grooming and his new herd mates. He is a big sensitive goofball with a funny side. He loves to pull on your clothes and does not mind dressing up in costumes!
